Hong Kong 加油.It’s difficult on both ends—the protesters and police force. I have friends/family out there protesting; I have friends/family in the police force trying to enforce order. There are plenty people who wants democracy and universal suffrage in Hong Kong that opposes Occupy Central. This doesn’t make them bad people, people that don’t love Hong Kong enough. I came across this video, and the guy mentioned how he “experienced June 4th (Tienanmen Square protest of 1989)… regrets donating money… pushing the students to die… I’ve been regretting for 25 years. Today, you want Hong Kong students to become your shields? Do you really want to push it til the PLO (People’s Liberation Army) comes down?" People have their valid reasons for opposing the Occupying Central protests, so we should learn to understand and respect those who choose not to protest in the crowd. I acknowledge and do agree with his point of view, but I still support Occupy Central and protests in other various regions of Hong Kong, now also known as Occupy Mongkok, Occupy Causeway Bay, etc. I wish I was physically there to participate, but I’m there by heart. It’s October 1st in Hong Kong. I hope everyone out there stays safe and please do not do anything rash. Let’s not agitate each other, police or civilians. Keep everything peaceful. You’re both people of Hong Kong no matter which “side” you’re on. I hope protesters really do use their umbrellas for purposes like the picture above—not to attack the police. And I hope the police won’t exert any unnecessary (brutal) force on peaceful protesters who are actually behaving.
香港加油.

confession: when the storyline gets a bit sad (with people dying and all), I lose motivation to finish the drama. I never finished watching Storm in a Cocoon and Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain. I still haven’t watched Line Walker EP15 yet because so many people died :( but I will definitely continue watching because the drama is just way too good to pass up.

Who do you think the last UC is? 木蝨, 林希微, or 歡喜哥?

木蝨 seems too dumb to be a UC and haven’t really served any significance in the drama. He’s all talk and can’t even fend for himself. I can’t say much for 林希微 cause she barely appeared. 歡喜哥 seems like a likely candidate because he use to be a police officer. A lot of people think he is and I want to believe he’s the last UC too, but a lot of the things he does in the drama tells me otherwise, like trying to find out who the mole/traitor is by giving them fake drugs and feeding 阿狗 to the dogs after he was betrayed. Right now, I’m leaning towards 林希微 as the 5th UC,but if it really turns out to be 歡喜哥, it better be a logical twist.

line walker ep16 — hugs + 爆seed worrying that 阿釘 would end up like 安琳.

line walker ep15 — 爆seed & 釘姐’s attempt to escape the gun battle between the mercenaries & SDU

I see a few comments online judging 釘姐 for being scared of “gun shots, dead bodies, and not know how to fight” and I just want to point out that she’s human after all. I know this is a drama, but in real life, believe it or not (omg), things like gun shots and dead bodies can be very traumatizing for people even in the police force. Yes, training and police academy/boot camp requires them to train and learn to operate a gun, but practicing vs. actually using it in real life (and shooting someone) are two different things. In 釘姐’s case, she was originally a UC just for getting intelligence information. She was chosen right out of the academy, so technically she never had any real experience as a “police”. In this scene, she didn’t know there would be mercenaries (professionally hired soliders/gunmen) and SDU. She’s stuck in between them and she even said “no one knows we’re police”. It’s natural in her situation to be scared. When she said “they’re all dead” and started freaking out, it could be because she was scared of seeing the dead bodies, but I personally interpreted it as “they’re all dead” so it means she’ll be dead soon too because it was a die-die situation, either shot by the mercenaries or SDU.

line walker ep14 — husband leaves, stranger saves.

This is one of my favorite scenes in this drama.
I’ve always seen Elena as a very solid and versatile actress and she does not disappoint at all. She portrays her pitiful character well and her emotional crying scenes are spot on. I can feel her helplessness and pain as she’s stuck in the car, watching her ass of a husband leave her without even looking back.

line walker ep14 — kobe saves 阿Yan from her flaming home

line walker ep12 — 爆seed: women are never satisfy, so annoying. she even wants it in a such a public place.

line walker ep09 — Susie媽: you should call us mother-in-law instead!

line walker ep09 — when the boy you like gives you his jacket~
